Online Image Optimizer lets you easily optimize your gifs, animated gifs, jpgs, and pngs, so they load as fast as possible on your site. Furthermore, you can easily convert from one image type to another. The interface is quite simple as shown below; you can either load an image from your computer or directly using a URL link. The service is limited to original images under 300KB, but other than that it’s very quick and easy to use.
Once the image file has been selected, you can click on the optimize button, to get the results, if you wish to change the file format as well, use the drop-down menu to get the options as shown above, also you can use the checkbox in order to get all the results (this allows you to easily make the best choice, so that the optimized image you use doesn’t look very pixilated).
If you use a lot of images on your sites, they can slow down page loading times if you don’t optimize the images for website use. Adobe Photoshop is very expensive to buy just to optimize images, but luckily their are some good free online alternatives out there.
